Data Recovery from a Corrupted, Unusable EaseUS Todo Backup in Lausanne, Switzerland
An EaseUS Todo Backup That Could No Longer Be Restored An SME based in Lausanne, Switzerland, contacted us through our website www.recoveo.com after a restore attempt failed on an EaseUS Todo Backup that had become unusable. The client was no longer able to restore the backup. The initial assumption was that the backup file had become corrupted.
Transfer of the Corrupted EaseUS Todo Backup via FTP From the initial contact, our specialist team carried out a complete assessment of the situation with the client. During this stage, the Lausanne-based company informed us that the affected backup was an EaseUS Todo Backup file in .pbd format, with a total size of approximately 750 GB. To facilitate the transfer, our team created a unique FTP link allowing the client to securely send us the entire EaseUS backup. Error Message When Opening the Corrupted EaseUS Todo Backup After successfully receiving the EaseUS backup, one of our RECOVEO engineers first attempted to open and restore it using the standard EaseUS Todo Backup procedure. After cross-analyzing the different available sources and using specialized equipment, our R&D engineering team confirmed the following results to the client:
Result: 95% of the priority files were successfully recovered and validated. Initial volume analyzed: 750 GB Recoverable data volume: 640 GB, representing an overall recovery rate of 85% of the initial volume.
Validation and Delivery To facilitate data validation, the client was provided with secure access to our DiagView platform, allowing them to review the recovered files, verify their contents, and validate the priority data before approving the final delivery. Following client validation, the recovered data was copied onto an external hard drive and securely delivered within 24 hours, allowing the client to quickly and confidently resume business operations.
